Bill is a great candidate and deserves your support; he is running against a pro-War, pro-Bush incumbent who has a $1.3 million war chest.
The Chronicle version of the article is a little soft, though: Bill’s tough no-nonsense position shows more clearly in the LA-indymedia version at http://la.indymedia.org/news/2006/05/158442.php
Weirdly though, the press is not covering the existence of AJR 39! That bill, and its companions in Vermont and Illinois, are being ignored!
I strongly urge your readers to write to their newspaper in support of AJR 39, and ask why there has been no coverage!

No media coverage? Not so weird to me really. But we will keep covering it here!
